I have always wanted to go to Hongkong Disneyland. When I heard that my aunt and her family finally arranged a trip to Hongkong, I instantly and impulsively bought the ticket and tagged along with them. It turns out that my other uncle, my other aunty and my other aunty joined the trip as well. So, 11 of us flew to Hongkong on November last year (November is the best time to go to Hongkong in my opinion because the whether is perfect).
For one week trip in Hongkong, other than Disneyland, we also booked a day trip tour to Macau and Shenzhen. Hongkong is definitely the place to go for those who likes shopping for cheap branded stuff. But for me, my trip highlight is definitely Disneyland as I’m not much of a shopper. The Portuguese heritage in Macau is also very interesting. Shenzhen was just okay though.
If I ever have the chance to go back to Hongkong again, I would explore Hongkong and Macau more. I want to see the Peak, Madame Tussauds museum, Victoria Park, and the world’s cheapest Michelin-starred restaurant, but I don’t think I would back to Shenzhen. It was difficult to travel around Shenzhen, especially if there is no local guide tour with you. We didn’t find anyone who really speaks English there.
This year bucket list would be Singapore, Mecca and maybe Europe! Wuhuwwwww…
