During the summer the temperature can reach above 90 degrees in Miami, so I urge visitors to stay at a hotel with a great pool to just hang out and enjoy the Miami vibe.

While visiting South Beach, I toured twelve hotels to check out their rooms and facilities.  One of my goals was to find the best pool on the South Beach strip.  Within the last decade many art-deco hotels have been restored into stylish getaways.  Here are my favorites.
