We spend a lot of time throughout the summer on the road. Driving to the cabin. Driving to the coast. We always seem to be on a longish drive to somewhere and longish drives mean we often see some amazing sunsets. These images were all taken in the same evening along Hwy 20 (Alberta, Canada). The road less traveled means it is always possible to stop for a photo when the opportunity presents itself. It is amazing how the sky can change as the sun sets.
Those yellows and oranges are gorgeous. You’re lucky to see that regularly.
We do have wonderful skies, even in the winter. Thanks for taking a look.
Wow! Heavenly! Good job.
Thank you for the comment. This is a beautiful part of our country.
I haven’t been to Canada but Alberta will be the first province that I visit. This photos made me add it to the top of my list. Do you think I should plan it now or wait until the summer?
I’m only a few provinces over but I have not been to Alberta. I’m planning my next vacation there now. It’s time I see these places for myself.
Beautiful photos! Sunsets are usually easier to catch than the sunrise, especially in the summer when I sleep in!
