At our recent Zest dinner at San Juan Water & Beach Club, we had something completely bizarre yet utterly delicious. Popcorn Soup is actual popcorn in soup with truffle-butter and rosemary essence. When Chef suggested it, I was hesitant but the cool creamy top and the warm soup bottom came together like a watching a snowy, winter storm from the comfort of chairs next to a blazing fire. It was perfection!
We sipped on our soup like drinking a fine scotch and Darren and I both opened our minds to unique flavors and creations at Zest. If you think this is bizarre, watch for a full review post of Zest Restaurant to come. It’s packed with cool combinations and delicious treats.
