After returning from an ocean view suite at Hard Rock Riviera Maya, I realized that Hard Rock properties are my favorite all-inclusive hotels. It’s simple; they have the best, most friendly service, modern, creative rooms, kick-ass entertainment and amenities, and better dining options than most cities. I thought it was just Hard Rock Puerto Vallarta that I loved, but Hard Rock Riviera Maya is equally impressive. From the time you drive through the gates, you are a rock star! Other all-inclusive hotels should use Hard Rock as a benchmark for hospitality.
There are 2 sides to Hard Rock Riviera Maya: the Hacienda side for families and the Heaven side for adults only. I stayed on the Heaven side with top-shelf luxury and everything I could imagine to soak up the Hard Rock lifestyle. My massive king bed was crowned with a silver headboard fit for a rock and roll princess. The over-the-top details in the room included a private, ocean-view balcony, a personal liquor dispenser, 24-hour, all-inclusive room service, a hydro spa tub, rocking artwork, guitar logo pillows and sheets, and lyrical lamp shades.
Normally, I spend a lot of time in the room, especially in the evening. At Hard Rock, I took advantage of the hydro spa tub one evening and the room service on a daily basis, but I admittedly wasn’t in the room very often. There were too many amazing things offered to spend any real time in the suite.
At Hard Rock, dining is about more than food. Every experience offers a feast for the senses. While there are buffet options, I reveled more in the à la carte experiences. My favorite was Toro, an adults only restaurant. The good life deserves a great steak and premium cuts of the finest steak are always the way to my heart. Couple that with the best staff I’ve ever experienced, and you have one memorable feast.
Zen also offers an extraordinary fine dining experience composed of expertly prepared Asian cuisine. I had a chicken dish since I’m not much of a fish lover and it reminded me of a home-cooked meal.
Since I wasn’t there with my family, I took advantage of the unbelievable nightlife. There were concerts, DJs, and legendary parties every night of the week. Guns 4 Roses performed on the Hacienda side and at Club Heaven, premium cocktails were delivered in style to our table. It was like we had our own private waiter who kept our glasses full and the party going. The extravagant dance floor was alive and the dancing continued until the early morning. I mingled and made friends that I’ll remember for years to come. The night may have included a dance competition, some old-school moves, and lots of shaking it but those stories will stay at Hard Rock.
I might not have been there with Athena, but don’t think I’d miss out on the family adventures like riding the water slide, snorkeling the turquoise waters, or playing in the pool. I’m a big kid and can’t pass up jumping in!
Endless partying and water activities leads to a very tired guest. I may travel on a regular basis, but even I need a rest sometimes. I found my own private area to soak up some rays and listen to the waves. Relaxing along the warm Caribbean Sea in the serene beauty of a private white sand beach with crystal blue waters and a cool drink in hand, I knew… this was my Heaven.
There are too many great options at Hard Rock Riviera Maya to try everything. In four days, I was able to party like a rock star, swim, snorkel, kayak, ride the water slide, enjoy fine dining, and relax in luxury. The possibilities are endless. Regardless of age or gender, Hard Rock Riviera Maya really does offer the best of everything to everyone. It’s all-inclusive at a level of its own. There’s five star and then there is Rock Star.
